Bushcraft Courses

Jonathon Huet ( founder of WalkwithTrees) is a woodsman, naturalist and bushcraft instructor. He has extensive experience of running Bushcraft and Forest courses with a range of people for a variety of reasons.
From those with learning difficulties who may wish to improve confidence and attention, to those simply wishing to simply learn a new skill or strengthen a team. Jonathon's teaching style is appreciated by all.
Jonathon is a dynamic, creative, professional storyteller and speaker who has had teacher training in Bushcraft, and holds qualifications in Woodcraft and Expedition Leadership.
Jonathon works with many organsations, councils, and centres including Sustainability Centre, Butser Ancient Farm and the Wildlife Trust. He has also worked with Motiv8, many schools and was also short listed for the Business Ambassador of the year award by the EBP ( Education Business Partnership) for the work he has done with secondary school students.
Walk with Trees bushcraft courses are exciting opportunities to spend time in a natural woodland learning wilderness and survival skills such as primitive fire-lighting, wild food identification and woodland crafts such as spoon carving. You can book them for a private course tailored to your needs for a birthday party, event or outdoor education day . Alternatively you can join us for an adult course or our family Bushcraft/Wilderness days that we hold through out the year at the Sustainability Centre.
