Retreat Weekend 29th - 31st May 2020
An opportunity to spend a weekend in a Sussex wood learning traditional crafts, living outdoors and connecting deeply with the spiritual traditions of the land. Each day will consist of a morning and evening fire ceremony bringing together storytelling, Celtic folklore , herbs and fire-lighting followed by a deep meditation session. During the day you will learn to weave baskets, identify and harvest wild foods and cook over an open fire.

Instructors for the Celtic Bushcraft Retreat
Jonathon is a dynamic, creative, professional storyteller and speaker who has had teacher training in Bushcraft, and holds qualifications in Woodcraft and Expedition Leadership. Over the last 25 years he has researched and studied the folklore of the natural world of the British Isles running many workshops exploring the deep spiritual practices of the Indigenous culture of Britain. Jonathon works with many organsations, councils, and centres including the Sustainability Centre, Butser Ancient Farm and the Wetlands Trust. He has also worked with Motiv8, many schools and was short listed for the Business Ambassador of the year award by the EBP
( Education Business Partnership) for the work he has done with secondary school students.

He has been working in the outdoors for around 15 years and has qualifications in Bushcraft, Forest School training, Woodcraft and Expedition Leadership.
