Fire Ceremonies

Our Fire Ceremonies have become extremely popular creating a community of like-minded people who wish to connect deeply with Nature.
Learn about Herbs, Foraging, Fire-lighting, Trees, Animals and Plants in one sacred ceremony bringing together all these elements, connecting us to land, sky, water and fire.

The ceremony starts with a short walk before lighting a fire and making offerings of prayers and herbs to it. The ritual words are taken from authentic Celtic sources, classical poetry and my own blessings drawing from the Mystics of the West to connect with the Spirituality of Britain. For the time you are with us we unplug from all technology to allow are minds to become still and open to the sacred space. The groups are kept small and intimate to encourage a worthwhile experience you can take into your life.

'Your events cover so many aspects of Earth Spirituality from plants and trees to the landscape and seasons' October Fire 2017

Jonathon includes everyone by sharing his huge knowledge with warmth, generosity and good humour. The settings and content have always been perfect. I look forward to attending many more Walk with Trees Events.'
J.Wallis, Brighton.

To further support people in their exploration of nature traditions I also offer a mail order Woodland Bard Course which gives detailed background information and spiritual practice guidance.  You can also join us for  meditation courses and Celtic fire retreats.
Our monthly newsletter will also provide detailed information on the tree of the month delivered without any charge.

We are also lucky to sometimes have Abbie Simmonds along who adds enthralling tales and heartfelt songs to the Ceremonies. Abbie is a passionate performer of myths, folktales and folksongs, particularly those from the snow capped mountains of the north. Abbie enjoys exploring the liminal spaces where the mythic finds relevance in the modern, and tales of warrior goddesses, trickster ravens and troubled Kings from long, long ago find renewed truth in the present moment.
