Our residential retreat is based on our Woodland Bard study groups which will enable the participant to delve deeply into the meditation practices based on the indigenous culture of the West. They are designed to create a profound nature connection to support you in your daily life.

Our Woodland retreat brings together the ancient lore of the Forest with the meditation practices of the woodland Bard.
An informative, practical weekend looking at the incredible stories of the indigenous lands of Britain and the spiritual practices of the Celtic Bard.
Please note the balance will be £200. Deposit is non-returnable.
food & accommodation
Accommodation will be in the eco-hostel at the Sustainability Centre which is a beautiful 55 acre woodland site with chalk grassland and a wide selection of trees and plants. We shall offer nutritious vegan food from the Beech Cafe as well as a well- equipped professional kitchen for snacks and drinks.
The eco-lodge has a light and airy dining room and a cosy lounge area. Set in the South downs National Park we shall be able to explore the site and use the outdoor areas as well as providing a comfortable indoor space to meditate and explore the various themes.

jonathon huetfounder of walkwithtreesJonathon is a woodsman, naturalist and bushcraft instructor. He has extensive experience of running outdoor courses with a range of people for a variety of reasons.
Jonathon is a dynamic, creative, professional storyteller and speaker who has had teacher training in Bushcraft, and holds qualifications in Woodcraft and Expedition Leadership. Over the last 30 years he has researched and studied the folklore of the natural world of the British Isles running many workshops exploring the deep spiritual practices of the Indigenous culture of Britain. Jonathon works with many organisations, councils, and centres including the Sustainability Centre, Butser Ancient Farm and the Wetlands Trust. He has also worked with Motiv8, many schools and was short listed for the Business Ambassador of the year award by the EBP ( Education Business Partnership) for the work he has done with secondary school students. |
